The Ultimate Workout Fitness Evaluation
Every 8 weeks we have Fitness testing. This testing is designed to find out where you’re starting at and to keep in touch with your progress from regular workouts. Here are the tests we use in order to chart your progress:
- Endurance – 1.5 mile Jog/Run (Timed)
- Speed & Agility – Illinois Agility Test (Timed)
- Core Strength – Maximum Curl-Up/Sit-Up (1min/2min)
- Upper Body Strength – Maximum Push Up (Toes/Knees)
- Flexibility – Sit & Reach
- Measurements – Weight, (Optional) Waist, Arms & Legs
Types of equipment we use at The Ultimate Workout:
- Bodyweight (your best piece of equipment)
- Jump Ropes
- Resistance Bands
- Agility Dots
- Medicine Balls
- Agility Ladders
During a typical workout we try to use an outdoor environment:
- Stairs (Walking, Running, Jumping)
- Benches (Power Jumps, Step-Ups, Pushups, Dips)
- Walls(Medicine Balls)
- Light Posts, Hand Rails, Trees, Bike Racks (Anchors for Resistance Bands or for Stretching)
- Open Grass or Concrete Walkways (Perfect for Lunges and other Core Style Exercises)

What if I’m not physically fit?
You Must Read the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire! NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are safely capable of doing. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Men and Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

You will make dramatic improvements in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you’ll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind.
What is a typical day like at camp?
Each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect activities to include: stair climbing, dumbbells, core strengthening, body weight exercises, running, medicine balls, jumping rope, calisthenics, resistance bands, circuit training, obstacle courses, and abs/core training. The goal is to get you moving, elevate your heart rate and build lean muscle so your body burns twice as much fat.
What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring one set of 5 – 15lb dumbbells, exercise mat, gloves (optional), towel and water to keep yourself hydrated. Running shoes, comfortable layered workout clothes – even if it’s chilly, you will get warm very fast, and most importantly a great attitude to propel you and others through a fantastic workout!
Will I get sore from Bootcamp?
It’s completely normal to feel some soreness for the first few days of camp. You are moving and using muscles in ways you probably have not for some time, maybe ever. We make sure to warm-up properly, cool-down right, and stretch. Which alleviates much of the soreness, but some mild soreness lets you know you’re doing great work!
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as 3 workouts. “Visual Improvement” can take two to four weeks depending on your effort. Remember, everyone is different! It’s not a competition, so focus on your individual results.
What type of results can I expect from The Ultimate Workout?
Besides the body transformation you’ll experience, the biggest achievement is the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment you get from taking care of your health. If you’ve never experienced it, you are in for a real treat, because nothing can make your life more full, rich, balanced and positive than exercise.
A body transformation is a wonderful achievement. You can expect to see your body become tone, tighten and firm. Your energy levels will soar. Stress will be controlled, and in some cases, even disappear. Stamina and strength will increase, and body fat decrease by 3% – 8%. You can lose a minimum of 5lbs – 12lbs, burn 30-40% more calories (average of 700-1100 calories per workout) and literally melt Inches away as you add lean muscle and lose unwanted fat.
Do we still work out when it’s raining?
The Ultimate Workout is a bootcamp, although a little rain never hurt anyone, a lot of rain is not fun or safe for some of the exercises. So if serious rain is in the forecast, text or email your instructor to see if class is a go. Since we are an outdoor class, we always monitor the forecast.
If I get a friend to sign up for The Ultimate Workout do I get a Free Workout?
No! You will receive 2 FREE WORKOUTS if you get a friend to sign up for a package of 10 or more workouts.
Is there a refund policy?
No, we don’t offer refunds and this is non-negotiable. Unlike other bootcamps we do not charge by the month, but by the workout. You pay in advance and each workout you attend will count against your total number of sessions purchased, so you only pay for the workouts that you use, not those that you could have used. It’s a far better deal in the long run.
What do I get when I sign up?
Besides camp sessions, you get a free T-shirt.
